Early childhood education, also called Nursery School or prekindergarten, is an educational setting for children usually between the ages of three and five. Its primary goal is the education of young children, offering a controlled setting in which they can grow emotionally, intellectually, physically and socially. The right preschool preps children for kindergarten through play-based teaching methods and various activities. Basics in reading, writing, arithmetic are emphasised as well as expressions through music, art and physical fitness.
